These are recent paintings by Linda Christensen. They come to mind tonight because: a. I find them stunning, and b. this woman feels her way into each and every painting. There is no formula, no systematic approach. She goes into the studio and feels. If this is what we are leading our children into – a world of genius level expression – by teaching them about feelings and empathy then we should all be out of our minds ecstatic.

Paintings by Linda Christensen, to be seen at J. Cacciola Gallery, NY in October.

Oh your mom’s work is so magnificent! I visited her website recently and it is a feast for the eyes. I love her figures, her gorgeous use of color, her compositions, the simplicity/richness…lucky to have her genes and they obviously come through in you. 🙂
